6th Anniversary

This year on January 10th we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We celebrated by going out to dinner at the Chop House and listening to live music. It was our first date night away since having Andrew. Life is good and we are so in love with each other and our little man. Thank you Lord for letting us find each other. Looking forward to 60 more years together!

Christmas

Christmas in Longmont, CO

Somehow it seemed like a good idea to travel with a 5 week old baby when I was pregnant, but when it came down to following through on our Christmas plans, it was difficult! I am so happy we went to Colorado but it definitely was the most hectic traveling experience I have had to date. Andrew was a pro, but Mom however was a little stressed. It was a wonderful trip despite my initial stress and we had an amazing time! We were there a little over a week and spent Christmas in Longmont.
However, there is so much that goes into flying with an infant! First came the planning of when to feed baby so he was happy on the plane. Then came the packing for baby and a snowy climate. Sure baby stuff doesnt take up a whole lot of room, but pair flying with a newborn and a first time mom and man did I bring a lot of stuff. Lets just say that we had to buy a suitcase on he way home to get everything back with us!

We had a wonderful time visiting with family and showing off our little bundle of joy. Andrew even got to meet Santa for the first time though he wasnt so sure about him. We had a great week hanging out with Uncle Chris, Aunt Jenna and the grandparents. Andrew slept like a pro and the altitude and cold didnt affect him at all. We even had a party at the Allens where Andrew could meet all our Colorado loved ones.
